I am a member of Oak Grove and don't even know you personally, but feel that we have become fast friends over the past 12 days. We are praying for Thomas and your family several times a day. We wish you continued healing. (Our 10-year-old, Kate, signed the poster for Thomas and was thrilled to see it on your blog!)
My son's den meeting Tuesday night at Scout Hall (pack 577) was going to begin with the wonderful update about Thomas, when a cub scout burst through the door, and yelled "Hey everybody - Thomas is awake!" Then, when cub scouts met with Rev. Marson the next day to do the God and Family program, the scouts talked about Thomas again. Thomas, you are being prayed for in homes, in schools, in churches, and in workplaces all across our city and state. At my office, when we got the news, people literally stopped what they were doing and gathered in the hallways with tears and prayers. We pray for continued strength and recovery at Shepherds until you come home soon! Blessings, Angie Burnette (cub scout mom)
Jim and Virginia, I am thankful to God to see how well Thomas is doing. I have been praying for Thomas and your entire family since I heard of the fall. God is amazing. Elaine Wade
So wonderful...how can you not see the hand of God?
ReplyDeleteThis is wonderful, Virginia. You're in the best placed on Earth for Thomas' recovery.
